REVEREND RALPH C. WILSON, JR.
Reverend Ralph C. Wilson, Jr., affectionately known as Rev. Ralph, is a native of Pungo, Virginia. Rev Ralph’s chief desire is to see souls added to the kingdom of God. With over 20 years of experience in the ministry, Rev. Ralph started his Christian journey at Asbury United Methodist Church in Pungo, Virginia, confessing Jesus as his personal Savior at the age of 10. Rev. Ralph accepted his calling to the ministry at the age of 12. From there, he began teaching the unadulterated Word of God through real world applications, and personal experiences, interwoven with humor and wisdom. With a special ministry gift to reach the youth, Rev. Ralph founded several youth ministries expanding across the Hampton Roads (Virginia) area. Some of the churches include New Life Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Rising Star Christian Church, and True Heart Ministries. God has given Rev. Ralph an unquenchable desire to revive young people of the world!
While serving as Associate Minister at New Weeping Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia, Senior Pastor, Rev John C. Smith, appointed Rev Ralph as interimpastor of his home church, Asbury United Methodist Church, which is now known as Asbury Christian Fellowship. Rev. Ralph was called to revive the spiritual growth and restore Asbury to its integral place in the Princess Anne Community. He served in that capacity for four faithful years.
After several meetings with Pastor Darrell K. Terry, Rev. Ralph was appointed interim pastor at Faith Fellowship Community Church. Rev. Ralph believes that if you love God, and love the people of God, God will restore what belongs to Him. Rev. Ralph stands firmly on the word of God through the penmanship of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”.
Shortly after God relocated Rev. Ralph to the Northern Virginia, D.C. area, the vision of Chef for Christ ©, a Christian catering company that specializes in catering to the needs and budgets of smaller churches, was birthed. Rev. Ralph has also served as the Executive Chef for the Department of State, Department of Justice and the White House.
Rev. Wilson is the son of the late Ralph C. Wilson, Sr. and Margaret Louise Clark. He is a proud father of six children (Destiny, Curley III, Jermaine, Layla, Chloe, and Aiden) In regards to his children, he references Psalms 127:3-5, “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be shamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.”
